Early Childhood Comprehensive System
The mission of the Early Childhood Comprehensive System (ECCS) is to promote the well-being of all young children and their families.
Missouri’s State Plan for Young Children and Their Families highlights five goals, which include: 1.Young children will have their basic needs met.
2.Young children are raised in a stable, supportive, and nurturing family environment.
3.Young children have access to high quality early childhood programs.
4.Young children have a source of coordinated, comprehensive, and family-centered primary health care and services.
5.Young children are socially and emotionally healthy.
