In response to the July 2015 flooding that affected properties, businesses, homes and lives in Jefferson County, the Jefferson County COAD (Community Organizations Active in Disaster) was established to assist with the unmet needs of those impacted.  A COAD is a coalition of public, private and non profit agencies working together in response to a disaster, with a focus on the long term recovery needs and gaps.

When a disaster affects residents of Jefferson County, there are ways to help.  If you don’t have time or cannot help physically, a monetary donation may be one of the best ways to assist your Jefferson County neighbors.

Donations to the Jefferson County COAD should be made to Jefferson County Community Partnership, the COAD fiscal agent.

Your tax deductible donation can be made securely through the PayPal button, located to the left.
