Educare

The mission of Educare is to prepare young children for entering school by enhancing early care and education.  Educare supports child care providers by offering free training, technical assistance, site visits, and professional development opportunities to providers, directors and owners of childcare facilities.  The logic behind this strategy is the notion that the more education and skills childcare providers have, the healthier the environment for the developing child and the better prepared for entering school they will be.

We would like to thank Lynn Main for the fantastic job she has done as Educare Director over the years here at Jefferson County Community Partnership.  Unfortunately due to Missouri State Budget cuts the Jefferson County Educare program is being rolled into the program administered by ARCHS of St. Louis.  As of July 1, 2010, they will be responsible for Educare services to St. Louis City and County, as well as Jefferson, Franklin and St. Charles County.  Lynn's service here at the JCCP will end June 30.
