SIDS/SBS Prevention Training

Date: Tuesday, November 17, 2009 - Tuesday, November 16, 2010
Time: 06:00 PM - 07:30 PM
Location: Jefferson Regional Medical Center (formerly JMH)

This free training outlines Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) prevention.  Trainings are normally held on the third Tuesday of the month at Jefferson Regional Medical Center (JRMC), formerly Jefferson Memorial Hospital (JMH).  Participants will watch a videos with updated information from Children's Trust Fund (CTF) and SIDS Resources and will receive materials related to these topics.

Open discussion is encouraged as a group.  Everyone is welcome!  The hope is to educate everyone who may be caring for an infant or young child in or around Jefferson County and even further out.  All participants of the Safe Babies Program are required to attend one of the monthly trainings before safe sleep materials are distributed.  Please e-mail Jessica at community@jccp.org or call her at (636) 464-5144, x20, to sign yourself or your group up to attend the training.  This is done to ensure enough materials for all participants.
