Providing health/safety related repairs to Jefferson County homeowners in Need
The Hammers of Hope program is designed to provide low-income homeowners improved safety, independence, accessibility, and a healthier home. Often funding is limited for low-income elderly and disabled Jefferson County Missouri homeowners with health and safety repair needs.
Applicants must not have the means or ability to do the work themselves.

HOH is not an emergency repair service

HOH does not do repair to roofs

HOH does not work on septic systems


Eligibility Requirements:

Must be a Jefferson County, Missouri resident

Must have owned and lived in your home for the past three years
-
Income cannot exceed 200% of the federal poverty level

Property Taxes must be paid up to date

Must complete application in full and provide required documentation

Proof of all Income sources (SSI, SSDI, Child Support, Pension, Alimony, 2 months’ Wages, Food Stamps, etc.)

Valid ID (driver’s license)
-
2 months of most recent bank statements

Homeowners insurance declarations
